概要

「世界キャラクターさみっとin 羽生」は「まちおこし」に積極的に取り組む、世界中の「ご当地キャラクター」が集まり、地域の魅力発信を行うイベントです。昨年には、41 都道府県・海外４か国から、合計401 キャラクターが集まり、21 万人の来場者を記録しました。2013 年には「マスコット最多集合記録」としてギネスブックにも認定されています。今年も様々なご当地キャラクターを通じて、「人と人」「地域と地域」をつなげ、全国に「笑顔」と「元気」を届けています。


Summary
The “World Character Summit in Hanyu” is actively involved in the revitalization of cities. This is an event in which “local characters” are gathered from around the world to communicate the attraction of their regions. Last year saw the gathering of a total of 401 characters from 41 prefectures and administrative districts, as well as four countries outside of Japan. This attracted as many as 201,000 visitors. In 2013, this was certified as the “record gathering of mascots” by the Guinness World Records. This year, as well, it hopes to deliver “smiles” and “energy” throughout the country, linking “people with other people” and “regions with other regions.”
